With the AFA National Conference 2016 fast approaching, we are thrilled to announce that several advisers in the Centrepoint community have been nominated for an AFA Award.
The 2016 AFA Female Excellence in Advice Award recognises the industry's positive progress toward recognising women in senior positions.
We are delighted to announce Patricia Peters from Peters McKeown and Peita Diamantidis from Caboodle Financial Services, as finalists in this category.
Congratulations ladies, your nominations are very well deserved! As business owners, you are both wonderful examples of professionalism and leadership in the non-institutional advice community.
We would also like to extend our congratulations to Darren Johns of Align Financial, who has been nominated as a finalist for the Adviser of the Year award. To be recognised at this level is a wonderful achievement.
The finalists for Adviser of the Year have been judged on areas such as education, experience and contribution to the industry, as well as the processes they employ to deliver an outstanding and consistent customer experience.
AFA chief executive Brad Fox said, “We know each year it is getting more difficult for great practitioners and practices to stand out from the crowd because the standard in our industry continues to be both raised and met. This is a great reflection of the desire in our industry to adapt and change.”
The winners will be announced on 7 October at the AFA National Conference in Canberra.
