Centrepoint Alliance Foundation raises money for mental health awareness

March 26, 2020

It has been almost one year since we launched the Centrepoint Alliance Foundation!

Beyondblue was chosen as our inaugural partner due to their tireless work in advocating for positive mental health; alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression, and preventing suicide across Australia.

Almost one year later, the Centrepoint Alliance Foundation is proud to announce that together, our community has raised $18,005.38!

Your efforts have helped:

  • Reduce the impact of depression, anxiety and suicide by supporting people protect their mental health and help to recover when unwell
  • Reduce experiences of stigma and discrimination
  • Improve opportunities to get effective support and services at the right time.

From the Centrepoint Alliance Foundation Committee, we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who got involved in 2017! We hope you or someone you know has been helped by the community in some way.

This year, we have decided to continue our partnership with beyondblue.

With your help, we hope to top last year’s efforts and we have set a goal of $25,000 to be reached by December 2018.

To help with this, the Committee have planned a calendar of events for the year which is available here.

Make sure you mark the important dates in your calendar and get involved with the Foundation community!

Stay tuned for our first event, which will be our Walk and Talk Wednesday all through March. Keep an eye out for our announcement and instructions on how to get involved.

We are incredibly grateful to the many individuals, families, communities and firms across the Centrepoint Alliance network who generously support beyondblue in making a real difference to the lives of people affected by anxiety, depression and suicide.
